Rockwater predecessor Western Pump & Dredge was founded in 1992 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Utilizing innovate methods of water transfer and water management across multiple well pads, the company expanded quickly throughout the Rockies and Northeast regions.


Rockwater predecessors Red Oak Water Transfer and EnerMAX Services were founded. Both companies bring a wide range of water management offerings to Rockwater including fluids hauling, proppant logistics, water transfer, and flowback and well testing, from the southern most parts of Texas, to the basins of Northern Canada.


SCF Partners (SCF), an established provider of growth capital to the energy services and equipment sector for more than 20 years, acquires Enermax and Reef to form what will become Rockwater Energy Solutions.
