Rockwater Energy Solutions Acquires WPD

Rockwater Energy Solutions, Inc., a fluids management and environmental solutions oilfield service provider, announced today the acquisition of WPD, formerly known as Western Pump & Dredge, headquartered in Grand Junction, Colorado. WPD provides Field Water Management™ services to the oil and gas industry with operations in North Dakota, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Pennsylvania.

The acquisition of WPD strengthens the Rockwater fluids management service offering in the Bakken and Marcellus shale basins and throughout the Rockies. WPD brings to Rockwater the innovative concept of turn-key Field Water ManagementTM, a comprehensive fluids solution including field surveying, project planning, equipment procurement, installation, and operation throughout the life of the well. WPD brings twenty years of fluids management experience in extreme terrain and weather conditions.
